Start your energy management journey with quality site metering

Do you spend more than $200,000 a year on energy bills?

Did you know your site may qualify for new grants to help upgrade the metering at your site, so you can get real time insights into your energy use and identify opportunities for energy efficiency upgrades?

Are you already very busy? Does an energy management project like this sound like too much right now?

Don’t worry, helping you take back control of your energy and making it easy to manage is where we do our best work here at Green Energy & Carbon Management.

Take back control of your energy

We know that many Australian businesses are in the dark on where energy is used at their site. This is no fault of their own.

It is usually a legacy of simplified metering set ups that were installed years, or even decades, ago and aren’t able to provide equipment level energy insights that can empower you to take back control of equipment energy use at your site.

One of the first energy management improvement areas we explore with new clients is improving their metering set up. We believe data is power and we can help you tap in, take control and make significant savings on your bill and your carbon footprint.

NSW Department of Planning and Environment sub-metering grants now available

Businesses in NSW have a great opportunity this financial year to access up to $20,000 matched funding per site to invest in sub-metering installation projects.

Submeters are a game changer when it comes to managing energy at your sites.

Unlike regular utility billing meters, submeters provide data at an equipment level and can give you powerful insights into energy performance of your equipment and help you identify energy waste, and equipment failures that might be costing you money.

A small investment in sub-metering can have long-term financial benefits.

Our energy and carbon management consultants will guide you through an energy management journey that will help you capture data from an ideal metering system, gain powerful intelligence about your site’s energy profile with our energy management platform and use your new knowledge to invest in smart, cost-effective solutions designed specifically for your business.

Effective metering at your site can also create opportunities for your business take advantage of Energy Savings Scheme incentives. Our consultants will work closely with you to analyse your energy profile to find energy efficiency upgrade projects that will make a real impact in reducing your energy bills and match them with available incentives to help you reduce the project cost and improve the return on investment.

The Department of Planning and Environment has now opened the first round of funding for sub-metering investment and installation projects. Read more here: https://www.energysaver.nsw.gov.au/browse-energy-offers/business-offers/submetering-grants

You have to be quick. Applications close on 2 December 2022 or when the budget is exhausted. So, don’t miss out. All sub-metering projects must be complete by 30 June 2023.

Future grant opportunities in NSW

Watch this space for more updates as we expect the NSW government to announce further grant application opening dates in coming months; including grants for metering and monitoring planning work in late 2022, grants for implementing the recommendations from approved metering and monitoring plans in the first half of 2023, and support for energy performance and continuous improvement services in 2024.
