The Commercial Building Disclosure (CBD) Program requires energy efficiency information to be provided in most cases when commercial office space of 1000 square metres or more is offered for sale or lease. This information is provided in the form of a Building Energy Efficiency Certificate (BEEC).
To obtain a BEEC, the office must complete a NABERs rating (at a minimum for the base building) and a Tenancy Lighting Assessment (TLA) for the area which is due to be leased or sold.
