Caroline Bennett
CEO

With over 11 years in the energy efficiency industry, Caroline has built a wealth of experience and a vast network that enable her to provide the best solutions in Energy Management for her clients.

A passionate energy efficiency advocate, Caroline has worked on projects such as Industrial heat recovery, hospital HVAC upgrades and behind the meter generation in manufacturing facilities to name a few.

With a strong belief in “ Measurement for Management”, Caroline’s engineering experience in Measurement & Verification (M&V) supports energy savings and carbon accountability on energy projects.

Douglas Russell
Engineering Director - Energy Management

With a background in the automotive industry, Doug quickly recognised that Australian manufacturing needed to evolve to survive.

With this realisation he has developed a passion for energy efficiency and decarbonisation, and has used this to assist large and complex Australian businesses across a number of industries to reduce their carbon footprints.

From developing emissions reduction strategies for timber mills and supporting commercial clients commissioning multi site ECMs, to implementing the first ISO 50001 certified Energy Management System in Australia, Doug has a wealth of experience to help you achieve your goals.

Michael East
Engineering Director - Carbon Strategy

Michael has over 16 years’ of experience in industrial energy efficiency and energy & carbon management, with a passionate drive for client centric solutions. Michael prides himself on providing clients with an independent, engineered solution to meet the clients’ needs whilst filtering through the myriad of equipment and options available in the market.

Time working with utility retailers has provided strong knowledge of the wholesale energy markets, utility retailing, price drivers and significant experience presenting to executive teams with ambitious corporate objectives.

Over the years of working with industrial sites, Michael has become the trusted advisor to many large and complex energy users. Whilst initially focusing on compressed air, refrigeration and boiler systems efficiency opportunities, Michael now finds himself frequently incorporating these projects into an overall carbon strategy.

  • Our staff are Certified Measurement & Verification Professionals.

    A Certified Measurement & Verification Professional (CMVP®) is an individual who applies the concepts of measurement and verification to determine the performance improvement resulting from energy management activities within a wide range of energy consuming systems, such as building systems or industrial processes.

  • We are EEC Certified Energy Management System (EnMS) Advisors.

    An EnMS advisor establishes a systematic approach to energy management. This includes energy strategy development, energy management planning, implementation of plans, and ongoing monitoring and continuous improvement.

    The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) created ISO 50001 to provide organisations with an internationally recognised framework for developing an effective EnMS.

  • A NABERS Accredited Assessors is trained and accredited to perform NABERS ratings through the NSW Government program.

    Accredited Assessors carry out physical assessments of buildings to collect and then verify the data required to provide a NABERS rating.

  • We are Certified Energy Managers -CEMs®.

    A Certified Energy Manager is an individual who optimizes the energy performance of a facility, building, or industrial plant. The CEM is a systems integrator for electrical, mechanical, process, and building infrastructure, analyzing the optimum solutions to reduce energy consumption in a cost-effective approach.

    CEM’s are often team leaders and help to develop and implement their organizations’ energy management strategies. CEM’s have gained increased recognition within the energy industry and by companies looking to strengthen their competitive position by having responsible energy strategies and sustainable operational practices.

  • A Commercial Building Disclosure (CBD) accredited assessor is someone who has been accredited by the Secretary of the Department of Industry, Science, Energy and Resources as a CBD assessor under the provisions of the Building Energy Efficiency Disclosure Act 2010 (BEED Act).

    Only CBD accredited assessors can apply for Building Energy Efficiency Certificates (BEECs) on behalf of building owners or lessors, conduct CBD Tenancy Lighting Assessments (TLAs), and provide assessor supporting statements for exemption applications.

  • We are certified Performance Measurement and Verification Analysts.

    The Performance Measurement and Verification Analyst (PMVA) professional certification establishes the primary standard for individuals applying performance, measurement, and verification concepts to energy efficiency projects.

    PMVAs typically work in an analyst role for ESCOs, public administration, utilities, and financial institutions and are involved in designing and implementing energy efficiency programs and financing energy efficiency projects.
